Early morning at Arenal and the toucans showed well.

Finally the volcano cleared a bit and my room view was worth taking.

Nice Black-cheeked Woodpecker on the feeders.

Blacked cowled Tanagers

and Golden hooded Tanager

Now we travel to Selva Verde rain forest on the Caribbean side.  At a stop on the way saw these Silver throated Tanagers.

We arrive after dark. The lodge is built in the forest – you’ll see what I mean with the next post.
